Directions: There are two passages to read from Common Lit with questions to answer: "We Wear the Mask" and "Jabari Unmasked".  (You should access them via Google Classroom, but if you don't have access that way for some reason, they are at the very bottom of this page.) The fun part is the (Un) Mask Project.

In Encounters 6, you had the One Word/ Happy Word project.

In Encounters 7, it was the Number Burst.

This year, it's the Identity / Un-Mask Project.

The idea behind this project, which is also the theme of the poems, Cyndi Lauper song, and the Identity video

is that there are times when we hide our true feelings, beliefs, attitudes...

from the people around us.

This is your chance to show the world what you are all about;
