Sunday: Leave Pearland, drive 8 hours to Gulpha Gorge Campground in Hot Springs National Park. The park itself has a few nice trails..

Monday: Becky and Phillip have reserved their spot here for Monday night as well, so I will spend the day hiking.

​

 

Tuesday: Becky and Phillip are heading to the Green Tree Lodge in Eureka Springs (4 hour drive) and going to see The Passion Play this evening.

If I follow them to Eureka Springs for lunch, it's another five hours for me to get to Lake of the Ozarks State Park Campground if I go via the Glade Top National Forest Scenic Byway.  more information*

Gulpha Gorge to Ozarks State Park via the Scenic Byway is an 8 hour drive.

​

Wednesday and Thursday: I have a site booked at The Lake of The Ozarks State Park Campground for Tue, Wed, and Thu night.

Friday and Saturday: I have a birthday party to go to Saturday night.

*Eureka Springs to Rueter to Gladetop West to Glade Top Trail National Scenic Byway to to Ava to Mansfield to Lebanaon to Lake of the Ozarks

Directions: The Glade Top Trail is located about 60 miles southeast of Springfield, Missouri. The trail includes portions of Forest Roads 147 and 149 and has three entry points. The south entry point is just north of the town of Longrun off State Highway 95 and about five miles north of US Highway 160. The west entry is just off State Highway 125 about two miles south of the Hercules Glades Wilderness.
