The Calligram will serve as the cover of your Challenge of the Mind packet. The other requirements are here.

As part of your research project, you will create a calligram—a type of visual art where the shape of the text represents your topic. This unique activity combines your knowledge of the subject with creativity and design.

What You’ll Do:

1. Choose Your Shape: Select a shape related to your topic. For example: If you're researching an endangered tiger, your calligram could take the shape of a tiger. If you're researching an invasive plant species, your calligram could resemble a leaf or vine.

2. Plan Your Words: Use key facts, descriptions, or impactful phrases from your research. These words will form your calligram. For example: Include statistics, habitat details, reasons for endangerment, or the effects of the invasive species.

3. Design the Calligram: Sketch the shape lightly in pencil as a guide. Write your words along the outline, filling the shape with text. You can adjust font size, style, or direction for emphasis.

Requirements:

The calligram must clearly reflect your topic.

Use at least 15 key facts or phrases from your research.

The text must be legible and relevant.

The design should be neat and creative.
