San Felipe de Austin

Spring Break 2020

I went with my sister and her husband to San Felipe, Texas, where Stephen F. Austin settle the first Anglo colony in Mexican Texas back in 1823. We visited the historical "town" site and hiked in the State Park. I stayed two days and they stayed the whole week.

The park has 6 miles of trails and we hiked 4.5 of them. We saw a very long snake and a strange grass hut.

​

At the town site, we saw a long line of ants hauling leaves.
