Gear

I have yet to do any backpacking that requires the using of any of my backpacks and the only tent I've been using is the Alps Lynx. I do continue to buy Keen shoes and boots. I also don't use any of the sleeping bags. I have huge fleece blanket that I can fit into a bag smaller than a sleeping bag bag and it keeps just as warm as I need without making me feel all confined.

Over the last couple of summers, I've found myself spending more time driving between locations than actually hiking. Now, I've decided to spend more time at each state park and hike ALL of their trails before moving on. In addition, I've bought a Heritage 10 Angler sit-in kayak just to add a little more adventure to my outings.
